Huge congrats to our boys and girls team who qualified for and took part in the FAI Primary 5s competition held in Musgrave Park last week. It was a thrilling day out for players, supporters. coaches and teachers alike. Both teams were credit to themselves and showed fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship.
Special mention to the boys who went all the way to winning the final following a nail biting semi final which saw superhuman free kick in the dying seconds of full time, extra time and finally penalties! They will now represent Cork small schools at the Munster Championships in a couple of weeks time. Many thanks to coaches John Garrett, Maura Collins and Tadgh Garrett who have put so much time and effort with all the teams who took part in the competition from the start.
