There was fantastic support for the Rath Vintage Club annual Tractor Run which took place Sunday April 30th with proceeds being shared between for buying a defibrillator Rath NS and the Irish Motor Neurone Association.
The children supported the cause themselves when they got a big surprise in school a couple of days beforehand! They donated €2 to guess how many balloons were in the tractor, with some special prizes up for grabs for the winners. 142 balloons squeezed into the tractor. Congrats to our two prize winners and many thanks to all those who supported it; to Mike, the Vintage Club chairperson, for organising the super prizes; to Alan for the loan of the tractor and to Jim, Mike & Lucy for blowing up all the balloons!
