The whole school were treated to a visit from some of our local Gardaí last week. Garda Brigid, Garda Máirtín and Garda Ciarán spent the morning with us in Rath NS telling us about their jobs and life as a Garda. They also taught classes about different forms of safety and dangers and what to do in an emergency. The highlight for the kids had to be a visit to the Garda Patrol, being locked in, trying on handcuffs & uniforms and ofcourse turning on the sirens! A huge thank you to Brigid, Máirtín and Ciarán for giving up their time and answering the multitude of questions asked of them!
