Huge congrats to a group of our 4th class pupils, along with their teacher Ms O’ Donovan who came in the top six in Ireland for their Steps to Engineering project. Both 3rd & 4th class took part in the competition and came up with some amazing ideas, designs & creations.
The group, consisting of Conall, Patrick, Miriam, Tiana, Clodagh & Kitty chose to focus on a solution to a local problem, designing a special drain for Skibbereen to help present flooding.
During today’s virtual online prize giving, they were highly commended for their project and were presented with a trophy, individual medals and certificates for the class.

All the senior classrooms tuned in today and really enjoyed it.
We are so proud of them all and have them a rousing round of applause this evening in the carpark. Congrats 🙂
