We are joining Team Ireland on the “Road to Tokyo” in a new virtual reality active challenge! The 4 week challenge encourages schools to get active and learn more about the upcoming Olympics. We have four school teams – Invincible Infants, Fantastic First & Second, Thundering Third & Fourth and Fearless Fifth & Sixth. Each team will log their daily physical activity which will be converted to a distance which will help their team get to Tokyo.
There are four stops on this interactive road where students unlock new activities, prizes and get messages from our athletes whilst also learning about Japan and the Olympics. The focus for this challenge is exploring the joy of effort and the wider benefits of sport and staying active, with topics like teamwork, visualisation, motivation and goal setting discussed on the way.
