Congrats to our wonderful soccer team who came through some tough competition and horrendous weather conditions last Monday, winning the West Cork division of the FAI Spar schools 5 a side competition. They played some excellent games against Barryroe, Kilmeen, Drinagh & Dromleigh. It finished in a nail biting penalty shoot out in their second game Vs Barryroe to win the final. Joe took the brave move to stand into goal, and also took a penalty along with Paddy & Tadhg. Fachtna & Eoin completed the core team and played a stellar performance in all games. Shane, Cathal & Aaron made up the rest of the excellent eight and also played some very exciting soccer. We look forward to the next round in Carrigaline.
