Juniors to 2nd class were treated to an interactive, informative visit from our two local Gardaí yesterday. Garda Brigid Hartnett & Garda Máirtín Ashe spent the morning with us in Rath NS telling us about their jobs and life as a Garda. They also taught classes about different forms of safety and dangers and what to do in an emergency. The highlight for the kids had to be a visit to the Garda Patrol, being locked in, trying on handcuffs & uniforms and or course turning on the siren! A huge thank you to Brigid & Máirtín for giving up their time and answering the multitude of questions asked of them!
