Just to update you on our school garden episode. Unfortunately the culprits of the vandalism never came forward or were found. However, the two clubs playing the match at the time, along with the West Cork Ladies Football board, all pledged a donation to the school, to help cover cost of repair. We used this as an incentive to give the garden a revamp and thanks to 5th class and Ms Collins for their trojan work, it’s back to looking amazing! Ms Granaghan continues to lead the planting side of things and we got lots of lovely plants donated from family add friends of the school. A special mention of thanks also to all the families who volunteered to help out over the summer with weeding and watering.
