Infants have had a fantastically full February! Spring has sprung with their signs of Spring hunt, spring planting, St Brigid’s crosses, cherry blossom popcorn art and lamb pictures. They enjoyed some yummy pancakes and food dudes healthy snacks. Lots of great art activities have taken place when learning about Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday. They have been at the Vet in Aistear and designing their own apps and tablets for safer internet day. They always love to be active and have been developing some hockey skills, learning some new skills in kickboxing and enjoying Irish Dancing lessons with Katie.

Spring is also in the air in First and second class as they enjoyed a lovely nature walk and all things St Brigid – it was great having the older classes help them make the traditional crosses. They have been getting very creative with clay making delicious donuts and bowls and loved learning all about fractions and length. Méabh and Ola treated the class to some wonderful tunes and World Book Day is celebrated in style with monster bookmarks and reading in the sun ☀

Yoga, experimenting with dry ice, Céilí Dancing, group projects on France, making marmalade sandwiches, Rugby Training with Damien Hicks from Munster Rugby & World Book Day – 3rd & 4th Class have been busy this month! 😊
