We marked a very special occasion in our parish with the retirement of Nuala Ni Bhriain as Musical Director of our Parish Choir. Nuala has given 25 years of dedicated service to the parish choir which including organising the music at many of our special school Sacraments and events.
At a recent mass, Fr Michael thanked Nuala for all her work over the years and this was followed by special words of thanks from Siobhan O’Brien and Marie Corr Kelly on behalf of the choir and the parish.
The choir were joined by young musicians from Rath National School and they made a very special addition to the music at this special mass.
The celebrations continued afterwards with a Rath Church special tea party for Nuala.
We thank Nuala for her years of dedication and wish her a long and happy retirement!
