Hello 2022!

We’ve hit the ground running in 2022 with loads going on in all classes!

Infants have been thinking about the birds in Winter and how we can help them by feeding them seeds and nuts. The children have also been working on some Winter art.

Our theme for Aistear this month is ‘The Arctic’. Here are some of the children in the role-play area.
The children working on cutting and sticking skills to create Arctic animals with moving limbs!
In the construction area the children imagine and create ice structures such as igloos and ice hotels!
First Class took part in some webwise stories for internet safety day
1st class having fun with all things New Year – fun with scratch art and resolutions
Penguins penguins everywhere! First Class create some super cute penguin prints.
Gaeilge Abú- First Class have been working hard at their Irish. They designed, created and played some fun board games as gaeilge.
We learned all about Tom Crean , the famous Irish explorer this month. We looked at a famous photograph and used charcoal to create these masterpieces
First Class pods playing lots of interactive games in both literacy and numeracy this month.
First and Second Class get to grips with some cycle sense
