First and Second Class have had fun following the progress of the RRS Sir David Attenborough on its research mission from Harwich to Rothera in Antarctica. The school are lucky enough to have it’s name in a time capsule which will be left at the safely at the research station in Rothera. On it’s voyage, we received weekly updates by email which the children eagerly awaited. They were such a wide range of things they learning about from the workings of the ship, to life aboard it to the wildlife they came across and how the research station is run. A great experience all round!
