5th & 6th class were very lucky to squeeze in a visit to Skibbereen Arts Centre to experience the Coming Home exhibition based on art and the Great Hunger. The children prepared beforehand by exploring the Scoilnet lessons. Whilst there, the children paired up and used the audio guide to assist them around the exhibition. They also chose their favourite art piece and discussed and wrote about it afterwards. It was fantastic to enjoy such an amazing exhibition on our door step!
The board of management & staff were also treated to an excellent guided tour by Declan Tiernan, the previous night. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thanks Declan!
